Refund Policy

Community Education agencies may cancel any class or program that does not meet the minimum enrollment. A full refund will be issued to those who register for a class that is canceled or full. Refunds will also be given if weather or an emergency closes school districts. To drop a class you must request a refund from the agency with which you are registered three (3) working days before the class starts. No refunds will be given once the class has started.

Description:

You will start to move from the beginnings of banjo playing, and start to shift to a more beginner-intermediate level of banjo playing. This will include learning and memorizing the banjo song “Cripple Creek.” New banjo “licks” will be taught within this course. You will learn more “pick up” notes and practice ending a song. This class is for students who have taken the Beginner Banjo Classes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, or have taken banjo lessons before or have started playing the banjo on their own. Students are recommended to bring their own 5-string banjo, but this is not a requirement. Thumb, index, middle finger picks are needed for this class.
