Refund Policy

Community Education agencies may cancel any class or program that does not meet the minimum enrollment. A full refund will be issued to those who register for a class that is canceled or full. Refunds will also be given if weather or an emergency closes school districts. To drop a class you must request a refund from the agency with which you are registered three (3) working days before the class starts. No refunds will be given once the class has started.

Living Well with Chronic Disease (Grand Rapids)
 
This evidence-based workshop provides people with ways to deal with the social, physical and emotional challenges of chronic conditions. Participants develop strategies to manage chronic conditions and learn techniques to deal with the frustration, fatigue, pain and isolation that accompany these conditions. Topics include: appropriate exercise for maintaining and improving strength, flexibility and endurance; appropriate use of medications; communicating effectively with family, friends and health professionals, nutrition and how to evaluate new treatments.
This is a  6 week class, 2 ½ hours each session.
