How to Draw Animals and Nature from Observation

Description:

Drawing from life can be challenging, especially when things move!  Learn simple ways to quickly capture the gesture of animals, people, wildlife, trees, and flowers. Class will meet outdoors at an offsite location, such as the Itasca County Fairgrounds, or at the MacRostie Art Center depending on weather. Exact location will be determined at a later date. Supply list will be given upon registration.

Bring to Class:
Materials: 
Sketchbook (Strathmore 400, 9x12 spiral bound drawing paper recommended)
Pencils (HB, 2B, and 2H 2 each)
Pencil sharpener
Mono Zero Eraser
Kneadable Erase
White Eraser
Pencil case/container for materials.
Optional: small camp chair/cushion for sitting outside (weather permitting), ball cap/sunhat, water bottle.
